Vote March 5 in the
Board District 5 Election
You have the opportunity to make a difference in your neighborhood schools by voting in the upcoming LAUSD Board District 5 election! Your community has demonstrated the impact of its voice before, voting in 2016 for much-needed funding for updates to school facilities. On March 5, you once again have the opportunity to demonstrate the power of your voice. Only this time, it is to elect a school board member who will fight to ensure kids from all backgrounds in your neighborhood get a great public education!
Here are ways you can cast your ballot and make your voice heard!
Cast a Provisional Vote
Provisional voting ensures that no properly registered voter is denied his or her right to cast a ballot if that voter’s name is not in the roster due to clerical, processing, computer or other error. You may vote provisionally at any polling place in the county in which you are registered to vote, however, only the contests you are eligible for will be counted. If you cast a provisional ballot, you can check the status of your vote online 30 days after the election. You can learn more about provisional voting, here.

March 5 – Election Day! Final day for postmarking your vote-by-mail ballot, turning it into your polling place or drop-off location, or voting in person at your polling place. Please consider that polling places close by 8pm!
